Balmaki Rishi is certainly known to all Hindus of this world as a writer of Ramayan Maha Kabya. But the place where he lived, taught Lav-Kush and gave shelter to goddess Sita Mata might not have been in knowledge to all. This place lies in the southern-west region of Nepal, in the Terai belt.
